FoxNews reporter Clayton Morris has a little more info on the Apple event on January 27th. According to him, we will see the iPhone OS 4.0 at that event!

I spoke to a source at Apple this morning, before the invite hit my inbox, who said the event would likely focus on three projects: The tablet device, iPhone 4, and a new round of iLife 2010 software. While we won’t see new iPhone hardware just yet, we will see the next-generation software.

Hopefully this will make you even more interested in the January 27th :)

Nokia has filed a patent that is taken straight from a Sci-Fi movie. They have patented their Morph Concept that they showed a few years back. Basically this new nanotechnology concept can be used in right about everything that Nokia makes. A few abstracts from the patent, after the break.

This isn’t exactly news for this site, but Apple will hold an event on January 27th. Why I decided to post it, is because it’s possible that Apple will release the long rumored iSlate tablet, and possibly with this the iPhone OS 4.0. We’ll know more on January 27th.

Kevin Rose, founder of Digg, gives us a demo of his new startup called Square. Jack Dorsey, Twitter co-founder, is the man behind this company, so the startup doesn’t lack of tech superstars. Square is a credit card dongle that can be attached to an iPhone, and it will be able to charge money from your credit card. Check out the video after the break.

Rockstar has finally released the long awaited Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars game for the iPhone.

Chinatown Wars for the iPhone seems to lie somewhere in between the DS and PSP versions in regards to graphical quality, but as far as pure GTA gameplay, everything so far seems intact. (Complete with an awful lot of swearing.)

I have to say that this game is for me a must have! Currently, it’s priced at 7.99€ in the App Store. Check out a gameplay video after the break.

Eldar Murtazin, a Russian insider god, has supposedly gotten his hands on an early build of Windows Mobile 7. According to his twitter posts, it will not have support for software coded for 6.x and below. Only software coded for Windows Mobile 7 will work on the OS. He also said that the UI resembles the one seen on the iPhone, and Android 3.1/3.2(what?).

More info of this little thing hopefully at Mobile World Congress in February.
