Nokia offering free turn-by-turn navigation

According to Reuters, Nokia will start offering its turn-by-turn navigation via Ovi Maps free of charge. This is a huge blow for nearly every other manufacturer on the market.

One thing that also came in mind, is that this renders a few Nokia’s own phones overpriced. The price on a few specific phones like the Nokia 6710 Navigator, and Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition need to be lowered. This new free of charge service will make every Nokia phone with a GPS chip inside basically a “navigation edition”.
