Apple App Store dominating mobile app sales

According to analyst firm Gartner, Apple is totally dominating app sales. They account for 99.4% of the money made with mobile apps. In year 2009, they sold 2.5 billion apps, and $4.2 billion in app revenue.

In other words, all the other app stores account for only .6% of application purchases.
