Next version of Android to be called Froyo

Erick Tseng, Senior Product Manager of Android, said in an interview by Engadget that the next versoin of Android will be called Froyo.

Android releases has always been named after some desert, and this time is no exception. Android has already evolved into version 2.1, which is the sixth version of the OS, and the reason why this codename had to start with the sixth letter in the alphabet.

Froyo stands for frozen yogurt.
