Next iPhone generation to be released in early May

According to French Magazine Challenges.fr, the next iPhone generation will be released in early May. This would be the first iPhone that is not released in the normal June-July timeframe. According to the site, this comes from many reliable industry sources. Why Apple makes this release ahead of schedule, could be the massive competition received from other phone and OS makers.

In my opinion, Google’s Nexus One already comes very close to the iPhone, though the software still hasn’t passed the one seen on Apple’s version.
