Nokia today released a tool called Memory Reorganizer for the Nokia N97. The tool will will free precious space from the C:-drive. It will move programs like homescreen widgets from drive C: to be run from drive E:. According to reports, this will free many megabytes of space. The tool itself is only 52kb. The New York Times today wrote about the possible origin for the name Nexus One. According to them, the Nexus name comes from a novel called “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”, by Phillip K. Dick. The book is about Androids, and includes a bounty hunter who’s tasked to track down Nexus-6 cyborgs. This could in fact be the source for the name ‘Nexus One’, since it’s about Androids. Google yesterday filed a patent on the name, and this could lead to a lawsuit. The authors daughter is currently exploring options, on whether to sue Google or not.
