Nokia most popular among university students in the United Kingdom

Mobile Youth Consultancy has conducted a survey among 1,000 university students in the United Kingdom, on what mobile phones they use. According to the survey, Nokia’s share is 30 percent, and Sony Ericsson’s share is 27 percent and BlackBerry took a 2 percent share. This leaves big brands like Samsung, LG, HTC and Apple licking their fingers.
Students say that this is mainly because of good IM, SMS and social networking features seen in for instance the Nokia E72. Also a QWERTY-keyboard is a big plus.
