Google could get sued over the 'Nexus' name

The New York Times today wrote about the possible origin for the name Nexus One. According to them, the Nexus name comes from a novel called “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”, by Phillip K. Dick. The book is about Androids, and includes a bounty hunter who’s tasked to track down Nexus-6 cyborgs. This could in fact be the source for the name ‘Nexus One’, since it’s about Androids. Google yesterday filed a patent on the name, and this could lead to a lawsuit. The authors daughter is currently exploring options, on whether to sue Google or not.
