Nokia will only release one phone running on the Linux based Maemo operating system next year.

Nokia N900 that was released a few weeks ago, is running on Maemo 5, and the next version will be logically called Maemo 6. Maemo 6 is rumored to be the first “final” release of Maemo, which means that Maemo 5 is basically just a beta release. Maemo 6 is rumored to be released next summer, and this will most probably be also the release date of the phone in question.

About a month ago there were rumors circulating the web about a possible Nokia N920(seen in the image above). It will possibly come with a 4.13″ capacitive touch screen, and Maemo 6.
