Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 announced
Sony Ericsson today announced the long awaited successor to the XPERIA X2. The phone I’m talking about is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, or formerly known as the Rachel or XPERIA X3. Don’t know why they decided to call this one X10 instead of X3, but it could have something to do with Nokia’s X3.
The Sony Ericsson X10 will be available in the first quarter of 2010, and according to Sony Ericsson it will be the best Android device for the first half of 2010.
Along with the phone, they also announced the new user-interface used on the phone, called UX (user experience).
Check out the final specifications of the phone, and also a few PR videos after the break.
Final specifications:
- 4.0″ capacitive touch-screen with a WVGA resolution (480 x 845)
- 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
- 8.1MP AF camera, with a 16x digital zoom
- A-GPS
- 3.5mm audio jack
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- microSD slot, with a 8GB card included
- Android 1.6
