I’m working on setting up a new server, to handle the load issues and random downtime.

The new server should be up and running later today. Together with the new server, the site will also get an easier to remember URL :) Feel free to comment if you notice something fishy during the transition!

You don’t need to get a phone. You need a phone that gets you.

HTC started a new marketing campaign named “You”. It’s main focus seem to be the Sence UI.

The videos are actually quite catchy :) Video after the break!

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 has been spotted in the wild. These are not the first images of the phone, but that doesn’t really matter. The quality on these images are better than on the older ones.

This little baby doesn’t have a final name yet, but it is rumored to be one of the following names: XPERIA X3, XPERIA X10 or it’s codename Rachel.

The phone is targeted for a Q1 release in 2010. More pictures after the break.

droid-site-1The Motorola Droid page went online earlier today. It was quickly taken down, but BGR got screen shots from those pages. The most interesting thing about these images is, that they reveal the final specifications of the Motorola Droid.

Hit read more for the images, and the specs!

A very impressive technology demonstration of the graphic capabilities on the Nokia N900. The game is rendered with OpenGL ES 2.0 and is hardware accelerated. The game runs on a resolution of 800 x 480. Boy that looks nice!

Check out the video after the break!

nokia-logoNokia today filed a lawsuit against Apple. They claim that Apple violates ten of Nokia’s patents with the iPhone. The patents have to do with GMS, UMTS, and WiFi.

The patents protect for instance technologies that encrypt speech, security in general and wireless data transfer security over the cellular data network. Nokia stated that over 40 companies have licensed these technologies, but Apple refused to license them.

This will for sure be a long battle, and I will certainly post about it when something interesting happens. Stay tuned! :)

Two thumbs up for their marketing/hyping campaign!

BGR is on it again. This time around with a new Motorola leak, the Motorola Calgary. The phone will run the motoBLUR UI on top of Android. It will be a better deal for your wallet than what the Motorola Droid will be. Of course, this will result in a few downgrades on the hardware side.

Here is what we know so far:

  • Three touch-sensitive Android “keys” on the front
  • QWERTY-slider (spring assisted slider)
  • 3MP camera
  • 3.5mm audio-jack
  • A-GPS
  • digital magnetometer
  • Wi-Fi
  • microSD support

The device will most probably be available some time in the fourth quarter.
