Google to introduce their own turn-based navigation app?

google-maps-iphone

Google is possibly developing their own turn-by-turn navigation software for the iPhone. And the best part is, that this app would be totally free. The application would contain target specific ads, but that is only a minor con.

This would be a very big thing for iPhone users, since they would all have an own “real” navigator in their pocket, and without the cost of a normal navigator.

If this turns out to be true, all the other phone-makers needs to come up with something to compete with(except the Nokia Navigator phones with a life-time license to voice-navigation).
