Apple: 85,000 applications and over 2 Billion downloads from the App Store

Apple today released info about the success of their App Store. So far 125,000 developers have developed 85,000 applications, that have generated over 2 billion downloads since the launch of the Apple App Store a little over a year ago.

What will the figures be when the iPhone gets released in China in a few days.. Guess there will be a huge amount of new developers, applications and downloads. We’ll see how that turns out in just a few days!
