Developer of the iPhone game Pajatzo will be sued in Finland?
According to a Finnish news site HS.fi, the developer of the iPhone game Pajatzo will be sued by RAY(Finland’s Slot Machine Association). RAY demands that the developer Elias Pietilä will stop selling the game in the Apple App Store.
The reason for this is that the game itself is a replica of the original mechanical Pajatso-game, which is quite popular in Finland. You can find the game in almost every supermarket, just like many of the other games by RAY.
Elias Pietilä has offered to sell the game to RAY, but so far RAY hasn’t responded in any way to this.
Elias has made roughly 2400€ in revenue since the game was released in December 2008. At the moment the app is prized at 0.79€, and is in the 4th place in the Top Paid apps category(in the Finnish App Store).
