Nokia N97 Mini also announced

Nokia-N97-mini-1What has been rumored for long now is that the Nokia N97 will have a little brother anytime soon , called the Nokia N97 Mini. Today those rumors were confirmed at the Nokia World ’09 event. The phone is basically a minimized and cheaper version of the Nokia N97.

The Nokia N97 mini will have a smaller screen, a 3.2″ compared to a 3.5″ screen seen on the N97. The shorter size on the phone will also result in it lacking the navi-keys. The internal memory will also be smaller, 8GB on the mini when the “normal” N97 has 32GB. Also the new version will not have the camera-lens protector that has been causing problems on the N97.
