China Unicom to announce iPhone deal on Friday

Reuters is reporting that China Unicom will announce their China version of the iPhone. The earlier rumors suggest that China Unicom will order 5 million iPhones from Apple. If the number is correct is yet to be seen, but well know more on Friday :) This deal would be a huge thing because it would allow Apple to tap into the world largest mobile market, with nearly 700 million subscribers.
