Gartner says that Nokia N97 has sold only 500k units so far

According to the research firm Gartner, the Nokia N97 is lagging in sales.

Since it’s launch, the phone has sold only 500k units worldwide. That is a really small number compared to the iPhone 3GS, which we know sold over 1 million units worldwide during its first weekend.

The report also states that both Samsung and LG did well during the 2nd quarter. Samsung is also expected to take Nokia’s market-share during the 2nd half of the year.
